It's like TWO entire days past halloween.
On the DAY AFTER halloween Brian and I went to Walmart to buy some halloween candy that would be on clearance. Since, you know, it's the DAY AFTER halloween. Guess what. An entire aisle of shelves, that was completely full of halloween candy just THE DAY BEFORE, was cleared out and condensed into 3 shopping carts in the front of the store. And my beloved candy aisle was filled with Christmas candy. As annoying as this was, because hello CANDY on CLEARANCE, I do kind of love it. I love all things Christmas. The music, the lights, the trees, the celebration, the Hallmark movies, the reason. But I don't want to just skip over Thanksgiving to get there. One way I do this is by taking some time to focus on things I am grateful for. Wanna join me? Feel free to pop in here or on my Facebook page for some writing prompts that focus on everyday joys and random thoughts of thankfulness. I'd love to read your responses in the comments.
