![]() How have you been enjoying the sessions this week? Any "aha" moments or comments from some of the speakers that have really stood out to you? Share them here! Let's encourage each other. I've been so blessed from the feedback I've received so far from conference attnedees. Jennifer says: Robin, At first when I looked at the title of your talk, I thought, “my sister is already doing a book on our family history so I’ll listen to this later when I have time.” Then I felt prompted to stop there and then and listen. It was more than just about family history and leaving a legacy. I realised from listening to you that my writing would come from a more emotional place and will include God and how He has been with me along the way. My sister’s book is more of an ancestory/academic book. Thoroughly enjoyed listening to you. Thank you. THANK YOU JENNIFER, for taking the time to view the session and send a note! Another of the FLOURISHWRITERS speakers, Renee Fisher, posted this on her instagram stories: ![]() Thank you, Renee, for sharing this with your followers AND for the reminder of WHY I DO WHAT I DO! Renee also shared an encouraging note that one of her readers sent to her: "While I am working on all this a couple of last weeks ago I joined the Facebook meeting you had on legacy stories. Well who would know but a week later my mother in law was diagnosed with metastatic pancreatic cancer and is currently on hospice in Florida. God knew and now I know why I was on that call. I went down to visit and I knew she was working on her testimony as she was due to speak at a women’s conference in the fall." I wanted to share these notes with you...simply because they encouraged me. Writing for the purpose of leaving a spiritual legacy of faith and family history is so important. It's a book that will not likely make a bestseller list or reach thousands of people.
But if your story made an eternal difference for your children, thier children, and the generations that follow, wouldn't that be worth writing it? That is why I do what I do. So, again, how have you been encouraged this week at the FlourishWriters Conference? AND... How can I encourage you to write your legacy story? #liveapageturner #leavealegacy #writeyourstory
